PlayoffRace shows standings, seeding, magic numbers and playoff odds. Reading it needs no account and stores nothing about you on our servers. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read; that uses cookies set by Google and is subject to Google’s privacy policy. We do not sell or share visitor data.
If you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram account so PlayoffRace can post a club’s clinch card for you each day, we store: your Facebook user id and name; the ids and names of the Pages and Instagram professional accounts you choose to post to; the access tokens Facebook issues for them, encrypted at rest; the clubs, times and captions you set up; and a log of the posts made on your behalf, kept for thirty days. This is used only to make those posts and to show you what was posted. It is not used for advertising and is not shared with anyone; the posts themselves go to Facebook and Instagram under their terms.
You can stop at any time. “Disconnect” on the manage page revokes PlayoffRace’s access at Facebook and deletes everything listed above. Removing PlayoffRace from your Facebook account’s apps and websites settings stops the posts and discards the access tokens, and Facebook’s “delete data” request there deletes all of it; that request is confirmed with a code you can check on our data deletion page.
